Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub)

The Maeklong Railway Market is exactly as it sounds. A market that takes place along the Maeklong Railway. Vendors sell everything from fruits, vegetables, and meats, to souvenirs and clothing. The train goes through the market eight times per day, and when it heads down the tracks vendors coolly move their stations out of its path.

Wat Bang Kung

Wat Bang Kung is one of the most unique temples in Thailand. The temple has been engulfed by the roots and branches of large banyan trees over the course of several centuries, making it completely overtaken by nature. The temple provides a seamless combination of pure natural beauty and serene spiritualism.

Wat Samphran

The temple is notable for its 17-story tall pink cylindrical building with a gigantic red-and-green dragon sculpture curling around the entire height. The interior of the dragon sculpture contains a spiraling flight of stairs, which has however deteriorated to a poor condition in places. It also contains a huge Buddha statue as well as many additional Buddhist statues.

Wat Phra Chetuphon

Amazing day!

Our tour guide Kaew and driver (sorry I forgot his name) are amazing! I have to say I was a little low spirited before the tour because I arrived after midnight the day before, was still severely jet-lagged, and was not used to the heat in Bangkok in June. Kaew made this day trip utterly smooth and enjoyable in spite of all of that. We were picked up from the hotel and got into a car with awesome amenity (cooler with water, sanitizing supply, reclied chair that you can lie down flat!).

Kaew made sure we visit each place at a good time. We visited the railway market in the morning while it was not too crowded. Got some fresh fruit there. The Mangosteen were one of the best I have ever had. I also see many local people shopping there.

Kaew is also very mindful of the religious traditions while we visit the temples, and shared details about culture and history. She took so many beautiful photos for us!

The schedule is very much catered to our needs. At each stop, we were offered many options for food/snacks, but we were never presured to have anything. We had a late lunch at the end of the trip instead of eating at the floating market because we were just not feeing that hungry at noon, and Kaew happily offered alternative choices that are also very delicious. I enjoyed the rice soup at the floating market and the boat ride. There are lots of snacks and shopping opporutunities on the water. Kaew took care of all the ordering with vendors, making the best choices for us with considerations of our preferences (we don't eat spicy food). We enjoyed every dish. Kaew also offers various drinks to keep us hydrated.

Our drive is also very experienced and nice. The whole ride was smooth. We never needed to wait for more than a couple minutes to get into the car. There were plenty of restroom stops throughout the day. Finally, I appreciate how down-to-earth, warm-hearted and genuine Kaew is. I'd recommend her to anybody!

Kaew was an amazing guide! She catered the tour based on what we were interested, how we were feeling, and the weather. She was very knowledgeable about the different locations we visited and we learned a lot from her. She also helped us get a ton of delicious food from the different spots. Overall, it was a very relaxing and fun trip, would recommend to everyone!

This tour was amazing. Oil was a great tour guide. From the extra luxe van that drove us to canoeing on the canal to seeing the dragon building, everything was great! I definitely recommend.

Kaew our tour guide was the highlight of our time in Bangkok. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and organized. Honestly we felt like we were being shown around by a long time friend. The transportation was comfortable with AC, cold drinks and wet towels to escape the heat in between excursions . We loved every second of the itinerary it was seamlessly followed by delicious meals which accommodated our allergies. We had great conversation with Kaew translating & teaching us the local tongue, this was by far the best tour we have experienced in Bangkok worth the price as the service was exceptional & felt intimate .

It was an absolutely delightful and amazing tour from start to finish! The tour guide, Armeen, who was assigned to our tour is by far the best. He was instrumental in customising to our needs, schedule and interest.

The ride was spacious, and our driver Dong made sure we were more than comfortable after each location.

I am in awe of this wonderful experience and would definitely engage both Armeen and Dong for our next trip.
