Expert Tip. Erawan Shrine, an extremely popular Bangkok tourist attraction, houses a statue of Phra Phrom, the Thai interpretation of the Hindu god of creation, Brahma. The four faced figure is seated between two columns of brightly colored mosaic. Vandalized in 2006, the statute was rebuilt with plaster, gold, bronze, other metals and pieces of the old statue. Thai dance troupes frequently perform at the shrine.
