Enjoy your room's perfect privacy, or indulge in the hotel's inimitable, youthful spirit. This balance is the Metropolitan, Bangkok's, defining characteristic. Most guests make use of The Met Bar, which morphs from a private lunchtime address into an exclusive nighttime members' club. They also dine at Cy'an, a gourmet address in its own right or Glow, with its organically focused menu .
The hotel's 171 rooms, including four penthouse suites and a two-bedroom presidential fiefdom, share a cosseting, contemporary style by Kathryn Kng, a Singapore-based interior design practice. The look is fresh without being ferociously avant garde, acknowledging influences from both the east and west.
The simple, ample volumes are flooded with light, manipulated by lighting architects, Isometrix, London. Natural materials include Makha wood from Thailand, combined with oxidized brass paneling. Paintings are also featured, by Natee Utarit, an up-and-coming artist at the cutting edge of Asia's art scene. Utarit's images, hung throughout the hotel, give depth to the otherwise clean-lined spaces.

Fitness & Spa:
The Metropolitan, Bangkok, understands its guests are on high-octane schedules. To counteract the pressure, we have opened a COMO Shambhala health club at the hotel - our largest city retreat yet - dedicated to your continued wellbeing.
In addition to a gym, we have steam rooms, a hydro pool, 20m outdoor lap pool and yoga studio, with 10 treatment areas where guests can indulge in Asian-inspired, holistic therapies originally developed at our sister resort, COMO Shambhala retreat at Parrot Cay.
Met Bar:
A private place to party late into the Bangkok night. When it first opened in 1998, London's Met Bar became the hottest nighttime haunt west of Ibiza. Now, its newest sister, The Met Bar, Bangkok, delivers the same for the Asian capital, answering a sophisticated need for privacy and energy in a space reserved for hotel guests and members only.
In the afternoon and evening, The Met Bar serves delectable Thai fare to a high-flying crowd. At night, it morphs into a sultry, lounge-style members bar with deep-club chairs and wine-dark walls. Lighting is soft and moody.
Bar staff - called 'mixologists' at the Met - create bespoke Martinis while headline DJs spin eclectic lounge sounds from around the world.

The Metropolitan Bangkok provides various standards of guest accommodation; all offer generous space, with luxury felt in the telling detail, from towels like clouds to COMO Shambhala bathroom amenities.
Met Room: These are the largest standard/deluxe rooms in Bangkok, at 51-54sq metres each. King size or twin beds are flanked by a simple teak wood bench, bedecked in Thai silk cushions. The mosaic and limestone bathrooms are conspicuously oversized.
Studio: Like the 122 Met Rooms, the seven Studios offer ample space, at 43sq metres, with the same amenities. However, beds are king size only, and the bathrooms feature a separate shower and bathtub.
City Room: The 22, 29sq metre City Rooms feature a Queen Size bed and large limestone and mosaic bathroms, the shower combined with the tub.
Terrace Suite: Picture a Met Room (see above) and add a spacious private patio with clean-lined landscaping and an outdoor bench for guests to sit among exotic plants
Rooms are fully tech'd up. Amenities include direct dial telephones, faxes (by request), modem points, Broadband Internet Access as well as web access via your in-room TV. Furthermore, wireles internet access is available in all rooms and public areas.
Features of the four penthouse suites include:
- Open-plan living space with original Helen Yardley-designed rug, Patricia Urguilo sofa, Artemide Melampo table lamps, and bamboo coffee table from Northern Thailand
- Dining space with custom-designed table in local wood, and open-plan pantry

Payment Requirements
For your convenience, HotelRentalGroup offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
For all reservations
-The full amount will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy:
-Cancellations must be made in writing at least 3 working days prior to arrival, otherwise one night cancellation fee will be charged per room.
-No-show will be charged one night per one room reserved.
Children Policy:
- There is no charge for child under 12 years of age when sharing their parents room without extra bed/meals, ABF for child 5-12 will be charged at 50% discount.
Liability:
Hotelrentalgroup acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Hotelrentalgroup is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programmes. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programmes and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. They are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour / stay / excursion / car rental. Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.
Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.
General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
