Location. Dhevan Dara Resort & Spa, located in Hua Hin, Thailand, is eight kilometers (5.0 miles) from a golf course and elephant trekking, and 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Hua Hin Beach. Hotel Features. Dhevan Dara Resort & Spa, tucked into a garden setting, features a waterfall infinity pool. Expert Tip. Klai Kangwon Palace was built in the 1920s as a summer palace for King Rajakhipok and Queen Rambai Barni. The complex, which resembles a mansion more than a palace, is still used for that purpose today, although it is open to the public when the royals are not in residence. A formal manicured garden includes Balinese sculptures, lamps, nautical instruments and sundials. One section is a topiary garden. The palace also houses a shell museum with an impressive collection.
