The Hilton Hua Hin Resort and Spa is a modern beachfront resort overlooking the Gulf of Thailand in the centre of Hua Hin, two kilometres from the Klai Kangwol Palace. This 17 floor hotel features 296 guestrooms with parquet flooring and light, airy contemporary Thai decor. All open onto private balconies and include air conditioning, satellite TV, minibars, safes and tea and coffee making facilities.
After breakfast, guests can head to the large free form swimming pool, set in a tropical oasis of landscaped gardens and surrounded by sunbeds and parasols. Kids will enjoy playing in the adjoining children's pool and water slide. Inspired by Khmer architecture and boasting ten meeting rooms, the resort's spa features serene lighting, elaborate Thai silks and Asian artefacts, and the aroma of essential oils fills the air. Treatments range from modern Western therapies to traditional treatments of the Orient, and include pampering massages, scrubs, wraps and aromatic Thai herbal steam baths. Double treatment rooms with spa tubs, Japanese baths and views of the gulf of Thailand are available for couples. Dining options include a contemporary three in one restaurant offering Japanese, Italian and Thai food and a rooftop Chinese restaurant. The resort also houses a beer house offering locally brewed beers and live music, a seashore restaurant and bar with pool service, and a contemporary Western style coffee shop. The Siam Adventure Club at the hotel organises activities and day trips in and around Hua Hin. The ballroom can host 600 conference delegates or a banquet of up to 400 people, and faxing, copying and secretarial services are available in the business centre. The hotel is situated in the centre of Hua Hin and many restaurants, bars and shops, plus the market and post office, are within 500 metres of the hotel. Bangkok International Airport is 230 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 3 hours. |

Licensed metered taxis can be flagged outside departures. The fare should be fixed before departing and should cost approximately 60 USD. The train station is very close to the airport and there are several car rental desks in the terminal building. Hua Hin train station is within walking distance of the resort. The beach and centre of Hua Hin are best explored on foot.
Driving directions: From Bangkok Airport, take the toll expressway towards Bangkok and Dao Khanong. Follow signs for Dao Khanong. Cross the suspension bridge and follow signs for Samut Sakhorn (road 35), then Phetchburi (road 4), then Hua Hin. Once in the town centre, turn left into Damnuankasem. |
