Location. The all suite Tongsai Bay Resort is located at Choeng Mon, on the north eastern side of the Thai island of Koh Samui. It is 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) from the island's airport. Chaweng Beach is nearby, and most other attractions are no more than 20 minutes away.
Hotel Features. The Tongsai Bay Resort has a private beach, outdoor swimming pool with spa, restaurants, Internet café, fitness center and tennis courts. Water sports are easily accessed in front of the resort. Chef Chom's Thai Restaurant serves buffet and á la carte menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant provides indoor and outdoor seating with wonderful views over the bay. The smaller Butler's restaurant is poolside and requires guests to be older than 12 years. The Prana day spa offers three private rooms. Each has two massage beds, two treatment beds, foot massage area, either a rainfall or a waterfall shower, a floral bath and a steam room.
Guestrooms. All suites have a private terrace, generous living areas, air conditioning and cable/satellite televisions. The terraces have a unique "bathtub with a view".
Expert Tip. Just off the coast at Choeng Mon is the tiny island of Koh Fan Yai which can be reached on foot at low tide. It also makes an easy kyaking destination.
