GENERAL INFORMATION |

The boutique resort occupies 100 acres of tropical vegetation with a direct access to a 900 meters stretch of pristine sandy beach and offers 82 elegantly appointed rooms, suites and villas. Visit once and you will return again and again.
A stunning refreshing fresh-water infinity-edge swimming pool awaits you to deep in; just lay on one of the sun-loungers and enjoy the infinity view.
Young child under 6 years old are not allowed in the large pool and should deep in the small shallow water pool that is allocated to them.
Meanwhile adults can enjoy a relaxing back massage in the Jacuzzi which is integrated in the large swimming pool.
An informal spot for refreshing drinks and light snacks whilst sunbathing around our stunning infinity-edge swimming pool.
The Fitness Room features small gym functions with high quality fitness equipments to either relax or power up yourself. You can also enjoy a superb view of Ba Kan Tiang bay whilst exercising.
The gym equipment includes, Lifecycle upright bike, Stair climber, Life fitness 3 stack multi-gyms, Adjustable Incline bench, Twin tier dumbbell rack and a treadmill; the 900 meters long beach and the newly concreted road that slices through the tropical vegetation are also ideal training grounds.
The Library Room, adjacent to the resort shop, has an extensive selection of reading materials as well as computers with Internet access so guests can keep in touch with their family and friends. There are many books on Krabi province and Thailand, and on various aspects of Thai arts, culture and history. A choice of CD's and DVD's is also available free of charge for your own entertainment in your room.

An exciting choice of restaurants & bars offers an extensive variety of cuisines to suit everyone's tastes.
Baan Pimalai:
The main restaurant offers an outdoor dining area with sweeping views of the resort's infinity-edge swimming pool, the landscaped gardens and the bay. A great breakfast buffet is served daily whilst lunch and dinner "a la carte" menus offer both Thai and Western dining choices.
Spice and Rice
This air-conditioned Thai restaurant offers classic Thai food dining. Authentic around Thailand fare and traditional favorites such as 'Tom Yum Goong', are prepared with the freshest ingredients, artfully presented and full of flavor.
Rak Talay Bar:
This bar and restaurant, is located right on the beach, nestled beneath towering trees from where guest can take in the sweeping views of the Andaman Sea and gentle southern breezes. The menu features casual light snacks, including salads, pasta pizzas and great sandwiches. In the evenings guest can choose from an abundant array of fresh, succulent seafood caught locally. Grilled, steamed or fried the chefs are there to prepare your favorite dish to your liking.
-Set in a lush sloping valley, lies Pimalai Spa, where the winds bring flashes of light fragrances to the small walled treatment rooms, each named after a local flower.
-The Spa aims at bringing back guests to nature; built in the shape of a village style, the pretty small straw roofed 'Salas' blend totally with the natural beauty of the jungle.
A range of activities and excursions are available from the resort. Our guest relation officer will be delighted to arrange to guide you in your choice
Elephant Trekking:
There are a few Elephant camps on the island and yes, you can experience the joy of riding your own elephant in Koh Lanta. Don't forget to bring a couple of bananas with you.
Lanta Marina National Park:
The park is located some 6 kms from Pimalai at the southern tip of the island at the end of a spectacular, although bumpy, coastal drive. It's a great walk going through fabulous trees and Gibbons type monkeys are usually there to welcome you.
Water Sport:
Available free of charge, are canoes, windsurfs, sailing boat and boggy boards. There are no motorized water sports (jet skis, water ski) available on the island
Island Excursions:
A number of small islands are part of the Lanta Marine National Park; they are protected islands and offer great snorkeling trips! Regular excursions are arranged throughout the week in Koh Rok, Koh Kradan, Koh Haa, Koh Gnai where vast coral reef with brightly colored fish and sea life can be seen. Koh Muk is renowned for its Emerald cave; a 60 meters long tunnel that runs through a mountain and leads to a lagoon at the bottom of a sheer vertical shaft in the mountain. All islands destination are subject to weather and sea conditions.
Squid Safari Sunset Cruise:
A 2 hours of relaxing time & fun trying to catch a Squid! A combination of skills hooking a squid from one hand whilst holding a cool refreshing local beer in the other! You catch! We BBQ!
Thai Cooking Lessons:
Our classes have become hugely popular; Learn a few famous recipes that you can take back home; you will cook yourself under the guidance of one of our Head Chef; you will also receive a recipe guide booklet, a souvenir Pimalai cooking apron to take home and if you do really well, our Chef will hand over to you an official "Arroy Dee" cooking certificate! This could lead you to set up your own Thai restaurant back home!
Mountain Bike:
Bicycles are available at the resort with our compliments. A brand new 8 kms road has now been completed slicing through the existing jungle; up, down with some great view points; you may also encounter the sight of monkeys and huge lizards.
The Resort is the perfect location for private celebrations, weddings, executive meetings, weekend retreats and small incentive events. Pimalai Resort & Spa has the flexibility and the support team in place to ensure the professional management of your event from beginning to end. The Resort offers a Boardroom sitting 8 people and a meeting room sitting up to 36 people in theater style (24 in classroom style).

Great thoughts have been placed by the architects in the resort lay out, ensuring that the contrast between architectural space and the lush embrace of nature is inspirational. The little buildings of southern Thai style design complete this natural environment allowing guest to be as close to nature as they wish.
Our Superior Rooms are set in sixteen low-rise southern Thai style houses, each containing 4 rooms.
The Bayfront Deluxe are individual Pavilion standing some 12 meters above sea level. They provide great living space (70 sq.m.) including a large balcony offering partial view of the beach, the bay and the surrounding lush tropical nature.

How to get to the hotel? |
|
One of the pristine islands in Krabi province, Lanta Yai, is today a haven for Pimalai Resort & Spa. Built within the rainforest as it meets the silver strand, you would hardly know it was there.
We can arrange road transportation to our mainland boat Jetty (Ba Huahin Pier) from anywhere in Phuket, Khaolak, Phangna, Trang where you may have decided to do a stop over before staying with us. It takes approximately 2hrs and 45 minutes from Phuket and Khaolak, 1hr and 30 minutes from Phangna or Trang. It only takes 50 minutes drive if your plane lands at Krabi airport, where you will be greeted by one of our Pimalai's representatives. Upon arriving at our mainland jetty, you will be placed into one of our engine-power cruisers who will take just 50 minutes to get you right down the Resort's beach. (may we recommend you to wear casual shoes...)
From May to October our cruiser lands on the east coast of Koh Lanta Yai (about 40 minutes trip); we then reach the resort by car (25 minutes) by cutting through the island from east to west coast.
Should you be arriving at the village of Ban Saladan (coming from Phi Phi islands perhaps) at the northern tip of the island, we can also meet on your arrival and take you by car to the resort; the trip lasts about 30 minutes.
At last it is possible to get to Pimalai Resort & Spa, using your own car. From Krabi, drive Highway 4 to Baan Huai Nam Khao and take the right turn on Highway 4206 to BaHuahin Pier. From there take the ferry to Baan Klong Mak (Koh Lanta Noi). Drive off for about 10 minutes to Baan Lang Sog to get the second ferry across to Baan Saladan pier on Lanta Yai. Drive then along the South west coast of the island for about 15kms and turn right at Klong Nin Village; another 8kms of concrete road and you will reach Pimalai Resort & Spa. The trip by car from Krabi takes about 2hrs and 30 minutes. 4x4 Cars are recommended during the period May to October.
Pimalai Resort & Spa is located on the south west coast of Koh Lanta Yai. Getting to Koh Lanta is even easy for a first time visitor. Your journey to Koh Lanta Yai will eventually take you through one of Koh Lanta's local transit cities in Krabi, Phuket, Phi Phi Island or Trang, depending on your entry point into Thailand.

Payment Requirements
For your convenience, HotelRentalGroup offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
For all reservations
-The full amount will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy:
- If cancellation is received within 15 working days prior to arrival, one night stay will be charged per one room reserved.
- If cancellation is received within 4 working days prior to arrival, two nights stay will be charged per one room reserved.
- No-show or early check-out will be charged the entire length of stay per one room reserved.
Children Policy:
- One child 3-12 years of age in existing sofa bed will be charged at $14.20 per day, incl Breakfast.
Liability:
Hotelrentalgroup acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Hotelrentalgroup is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programmes. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programmes and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. They are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour / stay / excursion / car rental. A submitted reservation request is indicative of the tourist agreement to the above conditions.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.
Special offers and Value Added Extras
All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.
Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.
General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
