A wonderful scenic park with a jungle landscape and abundant waterfalls. Many hiking trails, local food, hill tribe and highest point in Thailand.
Doi Luang mountain is the tallest mountain in Thailand. The summit features a meteorological and agricultural research center for the royal project founded by King Rama the Ninth, Bhumibol Adulyadej. The mountain features a rich biodiversity containing over 300 species of birds. It sits at 2565 meters above sea level. As you can imagine that temperature is lower than the valley offering a nice getaway from the heat. The Ang Kha trail offers a light trek along the hilltop.
Afterwards we leave for our second destination for a 2 hr trek to see more nature, waterfalls etc, on this trek we will visit a Karen village where we can relax and have a cup of the delicious Arabica coffee grown and roasted by local villagers.
