Fresh fish is another jewel in the country’s crown, and by visiting a traditional fishing village near Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, you will quickly come to understand how essential life on the water is to the local population. The colourful and ancient way of life will fascinate you as will the lines of brightly coloured fishing boats lined up among floating homes and stores that make up this unique lifestyle. After greeting the village fishermen and their families, it is time to board one of these boats yourself and sail to quiet Laem Sa La Beach. As you disembark onto the stunning tropical scene, you might find yourself ready to toss aside your life at home for a beach bungalow and never leave.
