Overview

Begin your full-day tour with a journey north of Bangkok to Ayutthaya. The capital and namesake of a 14th-century Siamese kingdom, the preserved ruins of the city are a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with archaeological wonders—palaces and temples.

Start exploring at the majestic royal monastery where the white prang (Khmer-style pagoda), located in the middle of the ancient compound and then continue to the temple of Wat Mahathat, where you can see a special tree with the face of Buddha encased in its trunk.tour mystic Wat Na Phra Men which houses a golden seated Buddha statue. Listen to your knowledgeable guide share the story of the Burmese invasion that destroyed the city. Your exploration of spiritual sites continues at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit. At about 1:00pm. hop aboard a boat and enjoy a superb buffet lunch while cruising along the gentle currents of the Chao Phraya River. Return back to River City at approximately 4:00pm.

Ayutthaya is a city in Thailand, about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. It was capital of the Kingdom of Siam, and a prosperous international trading port, from 1350 until razed by the Burmese in 1767. 13.00pm Welcome on board to Grand Pearl Cruiser at WAT CHONG LOM (Pathum Thani province) for cruising back to Bangkok along the Chao Praya river. Superb buffet lunch which includes a delight variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served.
The cruise passes through Nonthaburi pier, Koh Kret (Mon's community) and local Thai villages.
