Wat Plai Laem
A splendid white towering structure 18-arm Guanyin, who is well-known for the faith of unconditional love and a protector of all beings, was created by ancient art techniques based on Chinese-Thai beliefs. This temple is one of the most elaborate and ornate on the island offering numerous ancient murals and centuries-old statues. Furthermore, frescoes depicting Buddhist myths and stories and a prominent Buddha statue will provide you with endless spiritual inspirations. Lad Koh View Point
On a bright sunny day, this spot probably is the most sensational viewpoint in Samui with seaside panoramic views over Chaweng beach and Thong Ta Kien. The viewpoint was incredibly built over the slope rocky base offering the opportunities for visitors to walk down the stairs and find photo shooting sceneries to the horizon over sublime rock formations for capturing nice photos. Get some snacks, ice cream and beverages from nearby stalls and take your time to relax at a small shaded pavilion. The tropical shoreline, the sparkling sea, and warm sky here will never leave you disappointed.

Hin Ta & Hin Yai Rocks
Marvel at one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world, the extraordinary rock formation, “Grandpa and Grandma Rocks”, which has a long historical legend about a tale of tragedy tinged with hope. These unique seaside rock formations feature very vaguely shaped human genitals if you look at them from the right angle, which its charming local legend clearly explains that it is the myth of two elderly couples who drowned here and turned to stone. enjoy the sea breeze with a famed locally and freshly made coconut starch candy wrapped in a triangular shape called “Kalamae”. This dramatic historical legend site is absolutely a must visit attraction in Koh Samui .

Guan-Yu Koh Samui Shrine
Make a merit with a massive 16-metre bronze powerful Chinese war statue shrine dedicated to Guan Yu, “A legendary philosophy on loyalty, righteousness, wisdom and courage”. This fairly giant shrine has recently undergone a major restoration in 2008 with the purpose of being a gathering place for Thai-Chinese people for special occasions or festivals, and to honour the exploits of a historic Chinese samurai warrior. Strikingly, take your opportunity to dress in a Chinese costume and harvest a cultural nostalgic experience with a unique Chinese traditional rickshaw ride. It might be useful to know that there is a famous Samui traditional coconut ice cream café, where a cup of ice cream there costs you just 20 THB/scoop.

Wat Khunaram (Mummified Monk)
Go to worship Laung Por Daeng, a mummified monk sitting in a prayerful meditation sitting position, at Khunaram Temple. This idyllic temple reflects unique insights into Thai and Buddhist cultures and beliefs, to understand the Buddhist principles of “The Truths of life”. Laung Por Daeng was recognized for his exceptional meditation skills and as an excellent teacher. When he reached the age of 79 he is said to have predicted his own death. He instructed his followers that if his body decayed, he wanted to be cremated. If the body would not decompose, he wanted his body to be kept in a glass casket in the temple to be exhibited as a visual reminder and serve as an inspiration for future generations to follow the teachings of the Buddha. This year, 2023 is the 50th anniversary of his death, and we believe that it would definitely be your once in a lifetime experience to visit.
