What To Expect

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Worldwide tourists come here to experience this 38 kilometers, man-made canal initiated by the visionary King Rama IV 150 years ago. This canal was used as “road” when there was no road in Thailand. This floating market is currently the center of fruits and vegetable trading. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle. A motor boat ride is already included in your tour.

Coconut Sugar Farm
You will observe how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the coconut nectar into the drinkable one. You will try squeezing coconut milk from coconut shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine.

Samut Sakhon
The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!

Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub)
The railway market in Mae Klong District is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! It is well known as one of the “Amazing-Thailand” for its chaotic moments. In normal time, seller stalls are typically attached to the railways. However, when the bell of the arriving train rings, the big turmoil will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stalls and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all vendors will expand their stalls and resume selling again.

Private Tour Only: You will ride a local train toward the Mae Klong station for about 30 minutes. Instead of standing on the sides of railway, you will be on the train seeing people doing selfies and recording videos. You will be waving your hands to worldwide tourists! The train ride is included for our private tour customers only (optional purchase for join tour customers).

Amazing experience!

What a wonderful day we had on this tour. The guide and the driver were on time and communicated the day prior for an on time pick up. We then rode the train through the market and were able to get off and explore. The stops at the salt and coconut farm were a great addition. The last stop was the floating market and was a very personalized experience. I would definitely recommend the coconut ice cream. I highly recommend this tour company and plan to check out some of there other tours. Thank you for the awesome day in Thailand.
A fun experience

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The Railway Market was a unique experience, first riding through the countryside, then in the market itself. It is a very large land based market with the railway slicing right through it. We then visited a (coconut) palm sugar processing operation - also very interesting. Finally a boat ride on the canals through a residential area then the Floating Market. The market is apparently no longer for local consumption, but mostly for tourism with many souvenir vendors but also some food vendors. A fun way to spend a day.
Pretty good

Had a fantastic tour guide, my daughter has asd and was scared of the boat and he was patient and reassuring, spoke with the locals to make it more comfortable for her.
Didn’t spend much time at the rail market which I wasn’t happy about, would of liked to shop there a little.

All in all though it was a good day
Really great experience

Really enjoyed this, just a small group of four with the guide Jason who was lovely. The train experience was fun as was the floating market but the boat we were in was a little small and uncomfortable for anyone no longer slim and in the first flush of youth. However the whole experience was enjoyable.
