Explore the Grand Palace, in this informative walking tour. You'll explore this vast and impressive complex with a knowledgeable English-speaking guide who will take you round some of the palace's most impressive and important buildings.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

No trip to Thailand is complete without a visit to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of the country's most famous markets and just an hour and a half away from the city. As part of a tour, you'll be picked up from Bangkok and transferred to Ratchaburi Province (where the market is located). Along the way you'll have the chance to visit a traditional Thai house on a coconut plantation and see how locals make brown coconut sugar. You'll then board a longtail boat and travel to the market, passing by traditional country homes, allowing you to take in the rural way of life. When you arrive at the market you'll be able to explore at your leisure, with plenty of time to try tasty local delicacies such as pad thai, boat noodles or coconut ice cream, sold from boats on the canal.
