What To Expect

Chat Chai Market is the old market in Hua Hin for 80 years where utensils, food, fresh and dry seafood are sold. Rice and curry, rice porridge, pig blood soup, and Chinese oil stick served with coffee or soy milk are served as breakfast here. Chat Chai Market is the famous market in Hua Hin among Thai and non-Thai tourists. It has been the famous market that was built in 1953, the reign of King Rama VII. Chopsticks Hill (Khao Takiab)

From Hua Hin beach you can see Khao Takiab mountain with its most distinct feature, a very impressive golden colored 20 meters high Buddha statue overlooking the sea. On top of Khao Takiab hill, also known as monkey mountain or Chopstick hill is Wat Khao Lad temple, which is also known as the monkey temple, because of the many monkeys that live there. Walking your way up the stairs will give you some extremely rewarding views of Hua Hin, North of Khao Takiab. On a bright day, you can see as far as Cha-Am beach.
