Ban Pong
Wat Ban Pong is a temple complex in the village Ban Pong, as the name already indicated. It’s a beautiful and quiet monastery and behind it, on top of a mountain you can see the connected Metal Pagoda. This huge building was build around an ancient stupa or chedi which has been on top of the mountain for hundreds of years already. Besides a very steep road with a lot of hair pin curves also a 900 steps stairway leads you to the pagoda, but unfortunately on the tour we don’t have enough time to climb the stairs.
