Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea)
Visiting the Tiger cave temple is one of the things you must do in Krabi! The Tiger cave temple, also known as Wat Tham Suea in Thai, is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in Thailand. The Tiger cave temple is known for the tiger paw prints in the cave, the tall Buddha statues and of course the exhausting hike up the Tiger cave temple mountain with incredible views. But it’s absolutely worth climbing the 1260 steps until you reach the summit on top of the 309 meter high cliff. The view over Krabi is amazing with all the limestone cliffs and beautiful lush rain forest.

Great way to see some spectacular spots with a great host

We had a great day out on this trip, with our awesome guide, Toy. It makes for a long day, with quite a bit of walking (and a lot of stairs!) so may not be for everyone, but you do get to some pretty special sites. Tiger Cave Temple was a highlight for us -- a gruelling flight of stairs (1200+) to some truly spectacular views.
Be prepared for quite a bit of driving, but the scenery along the way is worth it.
Thanks again to Toy for a fantastic day!
Ethical elephant visit

We weren’t not going to visit elephants because of abuse. Never bothered to see if there were ethical sites. My sister suggested it because her son had visited. I am so glad I did not miss this fantastic experience. We immediately knew the three elephants were part of their family. By the time we left we felt part of that family. Definitely one of the best experiences of a lifetime. I will always keep them in my thought. Just so kind and loving. Thank you.
Cool spots

This is a great trip to some really cool spots!
At the tiger cave temple the stairs are incredibly steep and to reach the top it is over 1000 steps, so be prepared to sweat ALOT and have shaky legs on the come down and next day . Otherwise you don’t have to go to the top you can enjoy the temples on the lowerr floor!
Really great trip and funny guide
Great day trip

This tour was exactly as described and a great day out. Pick up went smoothly and we had enough time at each of the places so it didn’t feel rushed. Would recommend walking to the blue lagoon when you go to emerald lagoon as it is such a unique sight! The best bit for us was walking up the 1261 steps to the golden Buddha - the views at the top were phenomenal. Recommend the fruit shakes at the bottom of the steps too!

Average experience, Emerald pool is just green because of a lot of moss.. water seems quite dirty otherwise. Definitely not suitable of if you carrying toddlers/infant as the Nature trail is also not very pram friendly.

Very overrated.
