Overview

The early start is a great chance to spot monks walking barefoot around the neighbourhood while the local people make merit offering them food. This is the ideal time to miss the noisy crowds, by visiting the local temples at a more solitary, reflective hour. Take in the magnificence of the Big Budda and Wat Plai Laem Temples as they should be; in peace. Visit the Hinta Hinyai (Grandmother & Grandfather Rocks) and discover parts of the island that you didn’t know existed.
