Overview

There are more than 400 wats or Temples disseminated all around Bangkok. There is no way to see them all but we offer you to experience three of the most distinguished outstanding landmarks and the beauty of Thai Culture and way of daily life. Experience all means of public transport, including skytrain, subway , public boat, Tuk-Tuk, motorbike taxi, Chao Phaya ferry or water-boat throughout the day. Visit Wat Trimit which made of solid gold weighing 5.5 tons. Then we take you on a walk along the lively, colorful, and chaotic, whole sale market of China town area and goldsmith shops. The way to get around the city’s traffic is by catch local ferry to our next destination. Wat Pho where the beautiful Reclining Buddha is. After that take you to visit local amulet market and take a tuk-tuk to our final outstanding landmark, Wat Benchamabopit, where all the external walls of the main temple are covered with marble imported from Italy.

What To Expect

Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit)
It is not only has beautiful elegant architecture, but also the immense seated Buddha image made of solid gold weighing 5.5 tons and well known for the Biggest Golden Buddha Statue. It is a valuable treasure of Thailand and of Buddhism. The Guinness book of records conducted an evaluation and recorded the golden Buddha as “the sacred object with the highest intrinsic value” worth 37.1 million pound (in 2003).

Wat Phra Chetuphon
This temple complex houses the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, including 46 meters in length and 14 meters in height Reclining Buddha with beautiful mother of pearl inlay. It is also considered the earliest centre for public education in Thailand, and the marble illustrations and inscriptions placed in the temple for public instructions has been recognized by UNESCO in its Memory of the World Programme. It houses a school of Thai medicine, and is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage which is still taught and practiced at the temple.

Amulet Market
We will take you walk around at the small corridors where are lined with hundreds of amulet stalls. There are no shamans around to help but it is up to each individual doing to digging to identify which treasure speaks to their need.

Where you can see the focal point is the cloister around the main temple that contains a superb collection of bronze Buddha images and all the external walls of the main temple are covered with marble imported from Italy.
